An Extremely Affectionate and Intelligent Dog Did This Thing to Save His Owner

Gregorio Romero, 84, from Sonora, Mexico, owes a favor to his pet dog, El Palomo. A smart dog called rescuers to save its owner who had been lost in the desert for days.

The 84-year-old started for a walk as usual, but this time he did not return. At first, his family was not too worried because he would sometimes go alone to visit relatives and friends in nearby villages. Sometimes, the old man left for several days before returning.

However, on this trip, the family waited for 4 days and did not see him back. His niece, Ramona, reported the disappearance to local authorities and called in rescue teams.

They searched the area around Gregorio Romero's house but found nothing. City police, city guards, and service dogs join the rescue team to find Mr. Romero. After three days of searching, no one found his whereabouts.

A week after he disappeared, it was the family dog who found the important clue. El Palomo went to find the owner, no matter how far away, it was flooded, and luckily found Mr. Romeo who was trapped in the desert.

After El Palomo found out, it run speedily to find a rescue team and led them across the mountains to the place where the boss was trapped. Gregorio Romero was weak and dehydrated and was rushed to the hospital. Fortunately, he survived without serious injuries and was able to stand up again two days later.

During his hospital stay, the dog, El Palomo, stayed by his side around the clock, waiting for him to wake up.

"The owner's connection and affection for the pet dog, and the bond between the two helped the rescue team find and bring the dog's owner back to his family," the policeman said.

After a few days in the hospital, Romero returned home and took his dog out in the sun. El Palomo is always by his side to protect him.
