Loyal dog waits for the owner in an abandoned place for 2 years regardless of rain or shine

Abandoned by a rainy day, for nearly 2 years, the dog Xiao Huang has been determined to wait for the return of his old owner.

Locals said that on a rainy day about two years ago, Xiao Huang was abandoned by his owner on the road near the Kaohsiung City Museum of Art in southern Taiwan.

From then on, the poor dog refused all help and sympathy from the local people and resolutely waited for its former owner in place, rain or shine. In addition, Xiao Huang also dug a 90cm wide pit to hide.

Once, Xiao Huang suddenly saw the car driven by the old owner and couldn't catch up, so he accidentally broke his leg.

Only two years later, on June 25, the Municipal Animal Welfare Association was able to bring the loyal dog to a veterinary clinic. The staff of the Society for the Protection of Animals said that it took them 4 hours and used sedatives to "tame" Xiao Huang.

Currently, doctors are treating Xiao Huang's broken left leg and taking care of him to recover after long-term starvation.
